Wolfe won the 1919 Worth Prize (“for the best thesis submitted in the courses in Philosophy”) for this work on industrial strife in America.
VERY RARE. Only two examples have appeared for public sale in the past seventy-five years, the H. Bradley Martin copy and the F. B. Adams, Jr. copy. Laid in are the original 1950 invoice and accompanying letter from Seven Gables Bookshop discussing its rarity.
